DESCRIPTION:Te invitamos a la inauguración de “NUNCA MÁS”\, de la artista kaqchikel Ester Miza (@_estermiza_)\, el próximo sábado 22 de marzo en ÍNTIMO\, el espacio de proyectos de La Nueva Fábrica.\n\n\nPor primera vez se presenta un cuerpo de obras creadas en 2008\, fruto del trabajo de la artista con CONAVIGUA (Coordinadora Nacional de Viudas de Guatemala)\, FAFG (Fundación de Antropología Forense de Guatemala)\, y Coordinadora Juvenil de Comalapa\, recopilando testimonios sobre violaciones a los derechos humanos durante el genocidio contra comunidades mayas. Junto a estas piezas\, se proyectará un documental dirigido por Renato Borrayo Serrano\, producido por La Nueva Fábrica\, que profundiza en la práctica artística de Miza.\n\n\n—\n\n\nYou’re invited to the opening of “NUNCA MÁS” (Never Again)\, by Kaqchikel artist Ester Miza (@_estermiza_)\, on Saturday\, March 22\, in ÍNTIMO\, La Nueva Fabrica’s project space.\n\n\nA body of work created by Ester in 2008 will be presented for the first time. The artworks result from Miza’s collaboration with CONAVIGUA (National Coordinator of Widows of Guatemala)\, FAFG (Forensic Anthropology Foundation of Guatemala)\, and Coordinadora Juvenil de Comalapa\, gathering testimonies about human rights violations during the genocide against Maya communities. Alongside these pieces\, a documentary directed by Renato Borrayo Serrano and produced by La Nueva Fábrica will be screened\, offering a deeper look into Miza’s artistic practice.
